I thought we could start a role call roster for this year. Papa Joe had suggested we meet for Breakfast at the Buttered Biscuit again, we had quite a few there last year.

Let us know if you're planning to go to the Jamboree ., Gonna be fun 😊

Craig "TUTS 59", Linda, Megan and possibly Grandson Tyler
Alvin "Achipmunk"
Don "2-Ton" King
Papa Joe, Joe Jr, and Eli!
Tom "1954 MI" and Dad
Jerry "Hotrod Lincoln"
Archie "46 Texaco"
Just Mark and buddy Dave
John "panel fan" and wife

Just to give us an idea for planning purposes and hopefully support. dance yahoo

Count me in, but Vicki is on the fence. Her sister is having some surgery done that week and she may be needed there.
So maybe no cookies this year.

My Dad and I will be there.
Planning on being in the area late Thursday night, and then at the show first thing Friday morning.

If Vicki can’t make it, I’ll see if she will make some cookies anyway.
Of course I’ll be driving by myself and there will be no guarantee that they will make it that far?
Looking forward to chatting with you Tom and your Dad Jim.

My "Southern Spirit" will be there with you all. wave

I "identify" as a Southerner, especially after becoming one. Born in MD but RAISED up in Alabama as an adult. Two girls are Alabama-born and educated (UAB). Even convinced John to use Alabama as his "home of record" once we were married (33 years ago) in Pensacola, Florida. His "first home" since he left family home (at that time Maine). The South welcomed him, of course. Just they way we are! shake

John probably prefers: chug

Looking forward to watching this Jamboree from my spot here.

Didn't somebody start a roll call thread somewhere else? I've got an interest level of about -3 on a scale of 1 to 10 for watching a bunch of grotesque-looking lowriders with 18 wheeler wheels, earsplitting exhausts, and sound systems that shake the ground parade around, but I'm planning to be there for the after party at the park pavilion, and participate in swapping some bits and pieces with other stovebolters. I'm also bringing my smoker, so there will be freshly prepared pulled pork BBQ sandwiches, Cowboy Beans, and fresh made coleslaw for the Saturday evening meal! Don and I will be sharing a cabin at the state park again this year.

Archie will come to the show on Friday without Ol' Blue as a spectator and then participate at the park pavilion dinner that evening before heading home. Correct me if I am wrong about the dinner, is it Friday? I was assigned bringing cheese for the burgers, how much and I will bring a variety.

Will the show allow a small grill for some Hotdogs?
Or is it better to not ask? They will not be for sale, but just to feed Alvin!
Vicki said if she is with me or not, she may make up some cookies?

Archie ... the Pavilion at the State Park is reserved for us both Friday and Saturday, so either way you are right. Last year we had a group meet up for Dinner on Thurday night at the Road House restaurant, we will probably do that again.

Don... I Was thinking the same thing about a small grill at the show, I'm sure it's been done.

OK Craig, I'll have a small grill and we can do up some dogs during the day.
I'll take the lead on that. If the show don't like it? All they can do is tell us to put it out.
Maybe Alvin will have the soda to go with the dogs?

John,

Wow, that a good trek there! (Wonder if you post that you are going in the *new and improved* Great Lakes forum. Maybe you'll get a response closer to home. headscratch Just thinking.

I remember tracking the Bolters as they were heading to KC in the early days of the Reunion. I went over to the local library twice a day to log into their computer to check the site and our email. Before the days of laptop. And not too many with cell phones. wink

Sounds exciting .. thumbs_up

panel fan,

We will be traveling down from Michigan on Thursday, but I believe we will be going the way of I-69 to I-65. (Not sure yet if we will have a truck in tow or not)
FYI. If you travel down I-75 South of Lexington, KY, you have to make a pit stop at Buc-ee's in Richmond, KY. https://buc-ees.com/

Tom, did you and Jim register a truck for the show?
If you bring one, I'll bring the 57 GMC. Yes, I pre registered.

Don,
Yes, we did register a couple months back in hopes of having a truck ready to go....but...oh well, the most fun is hanging out with fellow Stovebolters and talking trucks.

Tom, I have been on the fence weather to haul a truck there or not. Entry fee is 40 bucks with two day passes for two people.
Walk in pass for two days for two people is 30 bucks. So not a big loss there and a whole lot less work.
Right now I'm leaning heavy on bringing the 57 GMC one ton. But also, I can haul everything in a smaller pickup without a trailer.
I'll decide next week and looking to be in Lebanon that Thursday.
