Let us know how much and where you found it. It helps in the discussion in answering this common question. ....g

This is a general topic (not at all specific to panels 'n burbs), and probably should be in a different forum (for wider viewership). I will probably move this to the general forum over the weekend.

Where it will be sent straight to the spoon because we are talking about buying and selling. I know I should just keep my mouth shut. grin Feel free to delete this post.

I agree with tmater. This will surely be moved to the spoon if moved to GTT. Although this may not look suburban related, the majority of thses gaurds are on suburbans. Georgie is putting his on a sububan.

GREASY Spoon is NOT the place for this! I enterpret "for off topic's" to be for anything that does NOT pertain to trucks)

Now, back on topic. I would like to also know the cost and it'd be good info to be armed with should one of us see one.
I'd like to have one for my PANEL.

Not bad for what they want for them these days I was lucky to get mine for a lot less than that but of course this was awhile ago. I have one that I'm pretty sure was chrome originally and not painted I scored that one for $100 on Ebay but it was missing one guard but the owner found it before he sent it.

I have a new old stock one with the original box and packaging and it is chrome so they did come chromed too. New old stock with no damage but needing paint or rechroming are running about $1,000 to $1,500. That is with all hardware and mounting brackets. My original chrome is still in really good shape, would work on a driver. The grill guard has no damage, but the bars are pretty wavy as they came from the factory. For a show truck the chrome shop would need to do some straightening and good polishing.

You do realize this thread is almost a decade old, right?

The parts wanted forum might get you some better results.

Asking for, buying, selling of parts outside the Swap Meet Forum is against Stovebolt rules. FYI

NorCal -- Please post your WTB ad in our Swap Meet. I will give this a couple of days and then prune this thread from your post down. As Martin says, WTB posts belong in the Swap Meet, not in the info sharing forums (per our plainly stated rules ... wink ).

Thanks,
John
