Those who have been to the KC Reunion will remember Mike and Pat Wahl for their help and giving, to make it a great event.
Mike always did a very good tool seminar every year with hands on instructions.
So it is sad to say, Mike Wahl passed away. last night.
This is what Pat sent me.

Don
This is Pat Wahl, Mike's wife. Didn't know where to send this and thought of you. Mike passed away about 12:30 this morning, complications of covid-19. It really has screwed up this world! I'm sorry we couldn't have the meet this year. Maybe next year I can come if you have it. I have enjoyed the friendships I have made and all the wonderful people! Keep up the good work guys!!
Pat

Mike will be missed by many.

Mike was a dedicated Stovebolter through and through. Loved his demonstrations at the Reunions. Condolences to Pat and the rest of the family. RIP Mike Wahl.

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My prayers are for Pat at this sad time. I will always remember my last conversation with Mike at the Riverside Super 8 as we both prepared to head home after the last Reunion. Rest in peace Mike. You will be greatly missed. God be with you, Pat.

Definitely sad news for sure.
My Dad and I greatly enjoyed Mike's tutorials at the KC Reunion. We tried our best to soak up as much of his knowledge as possible.
Thoughts and prayers for the family.

Wow. Another hit to the Stovebolt Family. Condolences to Pat. Mike and Pat contributed so much .. at Kansas City and more. Mike was the quintessential Stovebolter ... he had a passion for this (hobby is such an inadequate word here ...) and a real love of sharing what he knew in a humble manner -- *everything* I had ever hoped this site would be about. There was so much more he had to share with us. And that which he did manage to share ... well, he touched so many of us beyond what he probably knew. How many of us lost our fear of double flaring thanks to him? smile

I am so glad that Peggy and I managed to share his and Pat's world, however so briefly.

... this just plain sux.

Here's a couple more pix

I'm gonna miss running across Mike and Pat at shows and just catching up with one another. Was always a force to recon with in any group, especially at the Alderson get togethers. RIP Mike, the Wards

Sorry to hear this. As mentioned, he was quite willing to contribute to the KC learning experience. He and Pat were always doing things together as a couple. My condolences, Pat.
