since retiring my dream was to acquire an older Ford or Chevy short bed. some thing to tinker on when I had time, found a one owner farm truck that sat in the barn for a long time only to be moved out to the grassy area next to the barn. the family decided to get it running and find a new family for it. That's where I come in. brought it home. cleaned and went thru some extra parts and boxes that came with it. got it road worthy almost, some better tires and Im hoping to get the parking brake fixed, Glad to be here.

brought home a green short bed 5 window 52 3100, cab is soild, box is good but lacks a bed floor, both side door windows because there cracked but Ok for now. drove it home , runs good, but needs tires bad, every thing but the speedo and parking brake work, a few small oil leaks been cranking on it for a week cleaning it up, taking notes and going thru the assembly manual and shop manual.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Sounds great woof, congrat's. thumbs_up I'm just down I-80 from ya. I live in Omaha and work in Iowa. A good friend of mine retired from working on Toyota's and is now teaching Toyota repair at the local community college. I purchased a '42 big bolt just North of you in Huxley many years ago. I'm anxious to see some pics.

Welcome

John
