Tim noticed this morning that we can post pictures in the ODSS threads. So I'm going to try now before we hit the road again. Edit: Hot darn it worked. We'll post the dailey trip report in the spoon and post the pictures here.

Don, Tim, safe travels...you've got that bed mounted upside down, not going to be of much value that way!

Don, did you take fishing gear into Bass Pro? They have some pretty nice eating catfish. Actually you could have just test drove a fishing rig, then tossed fish & gear into the GMC and made a run for the border!
Road trip ventured into unknown territory today dry county found Jack Daniels good tour of the distillery then found Hotrod Lincoln’s place and had a good day of southern hospitality he looked after us
Tim has been taking all the pictures and emailing them to me, then I post them. But the other day, I stopped getting email from Tim and from some other folks. But, I still get a few from some?
Going to do a trip update in the spoon now. So, read about our day today there.

Can someone show Tim how to post pictures this weekend. He has a bunch and some are even OK to post on a family site. Sorry Martin, no incriminating photos will be posted. Tim may tell you a story, but I'll deny it.

Soon I'll be like Willie Nelson..."on the road again". See ya'll at what we southern boys call dinner! (not lunch) ...and by the way, evening meal is Supper !!
Oh my .... my poor, hardworking, under appreciated server being ridden like a rental pony after a train robbery .... And poor Baldeagle, slaving away down there in the dark, overheated server bay trying to coax one more megaflop out of it before it rolls its eyes to the back of its chassis and goes belly up ....
Glad you all are having a swell time, though
JM

More pictures Vicki Tim and I are into a bottle of Wild Turkey Honey. It is storming and will rain all night, so it may get interesting as a send off party. BTW, I got a harmonica today and may start practicing. If I don't do any good. I'll send it to Peggy and let her play it for John. https://www.silkyosullivans.com/ 2am Sunday morning

Memphis Fireworks from our 9th floor room after the ball game. This is about ten PM and Tim woke up for a second round on Beale Street. Of course I had to be his tour guide and guide him to places I have never been before.

Dropped Tim off at the airport this afternoon. He had a wild hair yesterday and got a jug of Wild Turkey Honey at the bottle shop, for last night. It was DOA by 10pm. Tim should be landing in Dallas about now and has a 5 hour layover. So he will be checking in and sending me some more pictures to post.
The road trip story and pictures will continue as I get time to filter out what I can post on a family friendly site.
Cheers Don

"Tim and Don's Excellent Adventure" Opening on a computer near you. Great trip, I'm sure there were many observations and world issue solutions that spontaneously flowed in a stream directly proportional to the volume of adult beverages:)
Ron Just to set the record straight, Tim and I did stop in a lot of B&G's, almost all of them were for lunch or dinner and just a couple cold ones. Beale street was another story because our hotel was only 1-1/2 blocks away and no driving involved. Wild Turkey Honey night was in a hotel in Cookeville, Tn? And we just stayed in the room. Nashville was midday and we just had a couple. Then got out of town before rush hour. The Homecoming also was no driving, so Friday and Saturday evening they were goin down good.
Some important translations are. Dunny Tall Boy Stubby Paddock Lucky Female? You insert the slang for Female and google it. Tim knows her.
Tim should still be in the air right now and when he gets home, sees his brand new Grandson and rests up some. Then he will send me some more pictures to continue on with the story.
Another side note that happened on Beale street. At O'Sullivans coming out of the Dunny, I met a guy that had a St.Louis Blues jersey on. Turned out he was a year younger than me. Went to the same Tech High School and took the same Machine Shop class that I did. I did't know him, but we had the same instructors. Small world!
