The 6400 sounds interesting and there is tons of help here on the Bolt.
However, since this is the Welcome Centre very few questions get asked or answered here. Please post your question in the most appropriate garage forum which would be the Driveline Forum or if your truck is a One Ton then perhaps the forum for the one ton's. You will get answers quickly that way.
Not sure what state Selbyville is in but there is bound to be some bolters close by. Watch post here as you participate and you'll likely find some close by.

I assume your 6400 is a 1 1/2 or 2 ton truck? If so, hop over to the Big Bolt forum and ask your question over there. Congrats on finding a 1950 6400. I would enjoy a big bolt if I had the space. A 6400 is a 161" wheelbase 2-ton. Look on the serial no./ data tag on the driver's door post. It should have the gross vehicle weight (GVW) and it's probably 16000. The original engine would have been a 235. Does it have a 2-speed rear axle? Grain box? PTO? Hoist? Good luck. Some of the big truck parts are harder to find, but many times brake shoes can be relined. Springs and small parts may have to come from a salvage yard or truck dismantler who sells parts. You can post under Parts Wanted on the Swap Meet section. Brake return springs may be fun to find. I called brake and clutch in Seattle and got a part # for my 1958 6400. They are no longer made but, I was able to find some NOS springs online using the part # they gave me. I would start by posting in Big Bolts forum and see if someone has a part $ for you and then go from there. As mentioned, you may want to post in parts wanted if you don't get any help with part # in big bolts.
Just don't start a parts wanted thread in a forum other than parts wanted. It will get moved.
