You can see what I am talking about in the LMC catalog linked here: Headlight visorsHow do you install them? Do they go between the lamp and the retaining ring? Or do they go between the retaining ring and the trim ring? Do you have to throw away the seals that fit into the trim ring? The arc of the visor doesn't really fit either option. Do they have to be bent slightly?

| | | | | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 2,187 Insomniac | | Insomniac Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 2,187 | I put them between the retaining ring and the outer trim ring. I tried between the lamp and retaining ring, but it was too tight; the retaining ring wouldn't fit to hold the lamp in place.
They do slide around a bit - if it turns out to be a problem, I will stick them in place with double sided tape.
