These were, as far as I have been able to determine at least yet, not sold as a Chevrolet accessory. None are listed in the accessory catalog or master parts catalogs. I’ve seen these on some trucks used by farmers. We left them because he wanted it "just like he found it". '47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.

Here are the specs.1/2 ton's are 46 inches wide. My '38 1 ton is 36 inches wide.
