Hey guys and gals. Happy to be here and be a part of this awesome forum and weatlh of knowledge-base. I plan to learn a (whole) lot, ask a lot of questions, and hopefully give help back to others as I learn along the way.

I am wanting to start posting about my upcoming project......the restoration & modernization of a 1965 Chevrolet C-60 Bus. It is an old family bus and we located it and now want to make a reliable and nostalgic party bus for family and friends to enjoy.

Please guide me to where I need to go when making my initial post!

Welcome to the group!
Don't worry about Jerry, he is one of the best info people on this site and will be the first to help out.

Post up a few more times and then you will have full access on this site.

Welcome Joiner. If you want to start a "project build" for us to follow along you can start a thread in the DIY Forum which is a sub forum of this Welcome Centre. You can add info there as you go along but you also ask questions in the regular garage forums.

Until you make at least 4 post you are moderated...which is for us to help keep spammers and unwanted guest out. After 4 post you can send private messages (PM's) and enjoy all Stovebolt has to offer. Just pick out the best forum for your questions and go for it. No double posting.....if a moderator thinks your question would be better answered in another forum he will move it for you. Good luck and remember, Knowledge is the Best Resource and we are all here to help.

Welcome, JT!
I saw the pictures you posted on YT of your bus. On this forum you need to put them on something like Photobucket or something and then post the link.
Check out the Big Bolt forum here, and also the tech tips. Plenty of good info to be had here.

Thanks Rich. Yeah, I'm going post that message over here to get everything started up and then see where it goes and who chimes in. It's going to be a really neat project and I'm excited about it.

I think I will make my initial post in the Big Bolt Forum.

THANK YOU!

Welcome, I lived in Huntsville in 1969 at Redstone, loved the weather, I had and still have a 1960 MGA then, could drive it most of the year without the top up.

Welcome! --- Happy to see a "late model" bus on here. Been working on my '46 for about 5 years and still have a ways to go. You might find some useful info on skoolie.net. Bunch of bus builders there.
