I don't have any experience with spraying on a sound deadener. I used a stick-on sound sound deadening mat on the exterior my doors (under the door panels). But, you might consider using undercoating spray. You can get it at any auto supply or Wal-Mart. Just be sure you have all the glass and mechanial hardware removed or it might be a mess to clean up. 72 Sierra Grande - Maych Forget about "do it right the first time". Go to Home Depot and get some of the stickey back roofing. It is about 24 bucks a roll and works quite well and won't trap water. The water is supposed to run down the windows and out through the bottom of the doors. Clog up a drain hole, and it will rust out in short order.
