I see nobody's responded to your question so I'll just throw out an idea. I don't have any experience with spraying on a sound deadener. I used a stick-on sound sound deadening mat on the exterior my doors (under the door panels). But, you might consider using undercoating spray. You can get it at any auto supply or Wal-Mart. Just be sure you have all the glass and mechanial hardware removed or it might be a mess to clean up.

haven't done it yet but i was kicking around the idea of useing that expandafoam type insulation you get in a can to put in the bottoms of my doors. should be good for insulating against noise and temperature too.

glen That expanding foam will trap water and rust the doors. Go to Home Depot and get some of the stickey back roofing. It is about 24 bucks a roll and works quite well and won't trap water.

Agree with 235 Fat Fenders, Home Depot Peal &
Seal Roofing Material. I used it and it really
sticks and no smell. Good Luck

Whatever you do in the doors, make sure you keep the drains open! The water is supposed to run down the windows and out through the bottom of the doors. Clog up a drain hole, and it will rust out in short order.
