I have lurked here for years but seldom post - so much so that I had to re-register. I'm here to ask for help. I am currently helping the Gilmore Museum put together an exhibit of iconic American pickup trucks. We are looking for some very nicely restored pickups that can be on display at the Glimore Museum in Hickory Corners Michigan. The trucks they are looking for are: 55-58 Cameo 59-60 El Camino 61-64 Corvair pickup 60-66 C-10 The exhibit would got up May 1, 2017 and run for 9-12 months. If anyone has or knows of any of these trucks that might be available, please contact me at [email protected]. Your magazine is always been a good read - from This Old Truck thru Vintage Trucks.
I received the 25th Anniversary issue yesterday and was I quite pleased to see a 1954 Chevrolet Advance-Design pickup on the cover. It is a beautiful truck and an interesting article (even if the AACA award winner truck has a few creative embellishments).

I had the pleasure to meet and talk with you at the ATHS show in Springfield, MA several years ago. Enjoy the magazine and actually found two dozen back issues just down the road from Gilmore.
I now live just a few miles from the museum and got a membership for all the great summer shows. I must say it is the best automobile museum I've seen.
One thing they do lack is anything truck oriented so it will be nice to see a display of them. Although they do have a few Model A trucks in their Ford Model A garage.

I've been reading and collecting Vintage Truck for a couple of years and I'm amazed at the range of years and models of outstanding restorations.
Another bolter and I have been talking about driving our trucks down to the bolter gathering as well as some of the many other truck shows around. Hopefully one that you will be covering, it would be a pleasure to have have a meet and greet.
