Glenn has been a moderator in the Big Bolt forum since 2005. Over those 11 years, we certainly have seen this section of the forums grow. So much so, it was good that Grigg came in to lend a hand.

We have found another Big Bolt guy to give Glenn a break! As Glenn signs off from moderator duties, he says, "I hope your health and busy life continue to provide the opportunity to keep the 'Bolt' running. I can't tell you how many friends and acquaintances I have made over the years. Best wishes to all for continued success at the best site I know of in history. ~~ Glenn

So, for us to not be any busier than insanity allows, we quite fortunately came across Mike "69Cuda" Gramann. We first noticed he was incredibly pleasant in the forums - seeing him about here and there. Then to get the stories of his trucks - and two big bolts at that - well, we asked him if he'd like to give this "moderator" business a try. headscratch

You guys in the Big Bolts forum don't need a much attention but we figured he was going to be in there a lot anyway!

Glenn, thank you for all the years you put in to help make this site what it is. And Mike, we think you'll have a very good time of it! We certainly appreciate your taking this on. We think you and Grigg will make a solid team.

John and Peggy

Thanks, Peggy! I look forward to helping out any way I can! One of these days, we will head out on another road trip )this time in a big bolt instead of the 59 Suburban!) and visit some folks along the way! Anyone in the Seattle area, or driving through for any reason, please feel free to stop by and see me! We are just south of Seatac Airport.

Ha. Since you don't mind driving 6600 miles, we'll expect to see you one of these days. If not here, maybe in Kansas City!

(If you had the Suburban, there would be plenty of fellas on this coast drooling grin. We'll have plenty of Big Bolt guys just as excited about those two 2-tons!)

I think you couple of Texans made the first GABFest of sorts. I don't know when you all got together but that's when John came up with the Texas Connection.

Here is one of the first Feature stories from Events. I always loved this photo and I wondered where it went!!! Will have to remember it (yea right) for June!

Paul

I'll try not to let it go to my head, Paul. If I do, or you feel I do, Please feel free to call me on it!

I was not trying to climb up anything, or get any position, rather I enjoy working on stuff, repairing it and getting it going again!
In life, I try to keep relationships at the front of any issue and view the issue through the lens of relationship. If I may, let me share a personal story as an example.

A number of years ago, one of my kids did something and "got the cart before the horse" as one of our friends from church put it. I was really upset, but I thought about that phrase and the situation. What to do.. I could shoot the horse! I cold burn the cart! Both of those would help me feel better in the moment but would still leave a mess in the middle of the street and damage our relationship. I chose to help get the cart behind the horse again and going down the road in the right direction. That salvaged the relationship an afforded me opportunity to later speak into their life.

All that to say, I will do my best not to be a butt! Thanks all for the welcome!

Glenn, a big THANK YOU for your contribution and best wishes for your "re-tirement".

Mike, congratulations. Pay is great and the benefits are the best that can be found. I know you will earn it dealing with folks around here like Joker! smile
