I know one year, John Gott brought some "Still plays with trucks" t-shirts but we never seemed to have enough time to do a Homecoming t-shirt.

Well, we are one-day less a month today ... and John can start a design in the chill of the morning tomorrow (temps to be in the 20's). I just talked to the local printing guy, so I'm guessing we can still keep the cost about $10 a shirt.

If you WANT a shirt, check in here and let me know how many and what size. Wayne will need a two week turn around, so let's see if we can get this order placed by Monday the 17th. We will also look into some generic t-shirts like we had two years ago in Kansas City.

Thanks for the check in. No problem for getting shirts for folks who won't be here.

I think by next year (which will be #10), we may need to get a patch for our jackets! grin

Okay, here is the design that I sent in. Their graphics people will give me feedback in 24 hours or so.

If you can't read the bottom, it says: The Wrenchmen cometh grin

I have ordered some extras, just in case.

Very nice!
I particularly like the 1 ton profile and the "Wrenchmen" bit.

Yea, I thought the Wrenchmen was a cool addition. It kinda is a combination of the ODSS wrenches that you all carry; plus the fact that it is a wrenching weekend.

We have the AD truck grille still to finish. And the one-ton is a carton rendition of Charlie. I know some folks have asked for the AD grille in the Hoo-ya shoppe. It's real detailed to get all the background gunk out. Someday.

Oh, I just did the work with the supplier. John did the art work for the shirt. Just got it approved this morning, so it's heading to production.

I hope I'm not too late here to get my order in on an XL tee shirt. If you have a few extras ordered I would love to have one or two. I do plan to make it up there to see the sights of the event!! Last year was awesome!

hardshell,

I did order two extra of each size, so you are covered. AAMOF, they arrived just this afternoon! I was really worried because, as usual, we were late getting the order in and we paid for some express shipment. It was not suppose to arrive until next Thursday. So, I'm happy as a clam. And they look good. Was not sure WHAT I had ordered, even tho I had a proof to look at.

Yea-ha. I'll be in here tomorrow updating stuff.
