Hi all! I've been gone from the site a long time... life has really been a ride. We still have the 59 Apache 3100, completely done for several years, and 35,000 fun miles. Have been trying to get to my 55 Belair post, without much progress, seems hard to get time and money at the same time! Now, my oldest brother brings home a 1st gen 55 GMC, and we are going to go thru it together. Can I still count on all of you for needed guidance, you sure treated me well on the 59 project! Grant.

Grant, welcome back! For some reason I remembered your name, or think I do, from some time ago. That or maybe your one of the ones I owe money smile

Life does get a little tough sometimes and life's events get in the way but hey, that's OK, we all deal with them.
Yes, you can certainly count on the guys in the garage forums for any help you might need. Once a bolter, always a bolter.
There may even be a few changes. Take a little time, smoke over the tech tips, gallery pics and forums to see whats new. Probably find a few new bolters that live in our area.

Good luck on the 1st Gen. GMC.

EDIT: for some reason the link to your truck don't work...at least for me.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Okay, we've got Grant's link fixed (file name was off in the signature line). Hoping Grant will send us a good update for the Gallery story.

Glad to have you back!

Peggy
