Hi All,

I have already learned a lot but have much more to learn.

So far...
New fender turn signals
Changed the oil
Got most lights working again
Bled the brakes
Given some rides to thrilled young relatives
Grinned a lot
Swore a little
Had good memories of Gramps

Thanks!

It is semi retired at the moment. Probably some light jobs once I feel it is safe and there is no impending doom.

Also just found out it is a 261 with a 235 head. Finally unearthed the #s under the gunk!

Welcome aboard! That's one sweet truck! 261 is an awesome engine. 6 in a row makes it go.

Awesome truck. It's good to see someone else appreciate these flat bed task force trucks. Welcome to the bolt.

I have already learned a "ton" here.

Sorry for the slow reply-- I only get to work on him in spurts when at the homestead.

That's an awesome truck you've got there. I used to load bricks & construction scraps off the job site into a maroon one exactly like it. Thanks for the memories- lol!

My 3.75 year old son has visions of his 55.2 1/2 ton getting a dump bed installed. I'm going to show him your pictures in a little while.

Welcome & good luck! Thanks for pics.

Wow, that is a beautiful truck. That bed looks like it could take just about anything.
