I plan to start looking at the interds. When I take off the head, do I need to remove the rocker arms or can I simply loosen the head bolts and leave the rocker arms in place? Just had a 261 stuck for years and found three lifters stuck and #2 rod "frozen" to the crank. Cylinder walls were fine. Had I pulled the pan and side covers first I would not have had to pull the head.
