I've spent considerable time making sure the truck is mechanically sound and now i'm ready to start the body work. The cab needs a new floor pan, cab corners (inside and out), the doors need patch panels on the lower inside and out, and there's lots of cosmetic patching that needs to be done. Is it worth the cost to have this cab repaired or should I try to find a better one? I'm looking to make this a great daily driver. Also, can anyone recommend any shops in the Shreveport, Louisiana area? I know that there are plenty of cabs in this area that do not need as much work. Look at all of the old grain trucks that are sitting in farmers fields. They are everywhere, and the cabs interchange. If you are having the work done for you, it would be worth it to find a cab in better shape.
