For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 19 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Mar 2003 Posts: 19 | I'm currently up in Alaska playing Army so I have my father-in-law storing a 1953 3100 for me. I've spent considerable time making sure the truck is mechanically sound and now i'm ready to start the body work. The cab needs a new floor pan, cab corners (inside and out), the doors need patch panels on the lower inside and out, and there's lots of cosmetic patching that needs to be done. Is it worth the cost to have this cab repaired or should I try to find a better one? I'm looking to make this a great daily driver. Also, can anyone recommend any shops in the Shreveport, Louisiana area? Someone there will be doing the work for me. | | |
