Hello everyone,
I have been lurking around awhile. I am in the middle of purchasing a 1947 4400 1 1/2 ton. I have not posted until now, because I did not want to jinxes the sale. However, I will be going through.

For the past 3 years, I have been looking for a 1929 Ford AA, but Three have sold underneath me. I started to look at other years and found the 1947 4400. I could not believe the condition, so I drove the 4 hours to see it. The prior owner did it right. I hope that I can be as good to it as the prior owner.

I am going to have it shipped to Squam Lake soon. I can't wait. I really wanted to drive it home, but it has not been on the road since 1988.

I will post pictures when it comes to its new home.

Matt

Good luck with the truck and with the fishing in Squam. If I see it/you on the road at some point during the summers or other trips north, I will shout.

I'd rather walk and carry a Chevy hub cap than ride in a Ferd.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you smile

Hey, I figured out how too post pictures with my iPad.

The paint is not as shinny as the pictures suggest. Rather, it is surprisingly dull.

I am really excited that the truck will be delivered this week.
