Well I am not sure really how to post this but I am going to give it a shot.
I am trying to figure out to get my truck to sound like this. Here he says "1957 Chevrolet Pickup Truck 3200 series. FENTON dual carb intake manifold, FENTON dual exhaust manifold, (2) 1bbl Rochester carbs, 235cui bored out .40 over. Flowmaster 40series mufflers."
Non Banjo sound 235 with 40 series mufflers 1st off I have a 1956 Chevy 3100 just rebuilt and here are the specifics: 235 bored .030 with a stock 261 cam, "848" head with the hardened seats, Fenton 2x1 Intake and Fenton cast iron headers with the split exhaust, dual Carter Weber progressive 2bbl carbs, Mini H.E.I. distributer, and crank turned -.010 x -.010. I will be using a t-5 tranny for the transmission.
What will be the correct size exhaust pipes to run?
Do I need an "X" or "H" pipe?
Does anyone have their truck or car sound like the clips above? If so what did they use or what did they do?
I went to the search here but it really did not answer my question. If someone knows of a link I will want to read it or even better if they have a sound clip I would like to hear it too.
