I'm looking at a 3100 next weekend. The pictures and description look good, and the price is okay too.
Here's my question: it's four hours or more away from me driving on the interstate, which I know I can't use if I buy this thing. The alternate route, traveling B highways at maybe 50 mph could take as long as six or more hours to get home. This truck is supposed to "run like a dream," but, assuming I buy it and drive it home, what advice does the Stovebolt community have for me? Just drive slow and hope for the best? Yeah, I'd like to haul it home on a trailer, but that's not an option at this time.
