basically all it does is replace the small wiring from the batt inside thru the switch & back to the starter operating the solenoid with large battery cable size wires, the small vehicle wiring is just operating the Ford relay which carries the load. trust me, it works-it even make the starter sound different, & seems to make them last forever.
