My example was the show the logic about gluing steel together. Auto manufactures don't do things because they are better, they do them because its cheaper and faster on the assembly line. They don't want the new cars or trucks lasting more than 15 years if that. With all the talk how good and strong the glue is that is why the heavy equipment comment.
