Not advocating it's use over welding per se just reporting my experience... 3M 8101 comes in 2 tubes you mix like JB weld. Easy to reuse later and lasts on the shelf fairly well.
I guess it's a work around if you don't weld. I still see it as having limited use on our truck, especially if you have ANY consideration for the person who gets your rig next...
