I resolved the problem with suggestive help from my fellow stovebolters. I traced it down to the fact that I had connected the yellow DA wire to the wrong ignition key terminal. Once I changed it, I suddenly lost the constant draw on the battery. I'll know more tonight when I get home and attempt to start the beast.
