I think you guys are correct. I'm fairly sure its a "press" fit and as they got loose farmers would simply "squeeze it a bit" and tighten it up. Heck, I've got an old one that someone put a bolt through close to the rod and tightened it up!!
I think I'm good to go. I was just seeking some info that perhaps would help. I'll get the grease cup out...
