Well , why not Ukonjac ,, you've got it this far down ,, be interesting to hear if there is a broken ring on #5.
I assume you checked the plug and plug lead to #5 and got a good fat spark thru them ?
The bent push rod may be from a sticky valve , but if the engine is really long in the tooth , then they are probably all loose as h*** , and due for new guides .
Maybe it was from when you had your foot right up it chasing that chic in the 57 T Bird
