My 54 3100 had a radio in it at one opoint in time and the radio antenna base is still mounted. The problem is, it is located so that if I actually had a mast on the base, the hood would rip it off as soon as I raised the hood. The base is located on the passenger side just to the right of the winshield wiper are mount. Again, when the hood goes up,it would definitely bend the antenna. Am I nuts? Is the right location for the antenna or is the base for soemthing else? If for something else, then what??
