Just bought an antenna from LMC. If I drill the hole according to the template they provided it looks like the hood will hit it. Looking at the bezel, it has a flat side, should this be flush with the raised portion of the cowl? It would then clear the hood. I'm ready to mount it, if I set the bezel flat side with the rubber gasket flush to the raised portion of the cowl, only using the template to get the distance from the mirror arm, mark the inside of the hole with a magic marker and drill, will I be making a mistake?
