It's an original style antenna. Their template puts the hole 1/2" (measuring parallel to the truck centerline) from the raised portion of the cowl, the small flat on the bezel wouldn't touch it. My measurement puts the hole 1/4" from the raised protion of the cowl in what looks to be the correct spot, and well clear of the hood.
What's the best way to drill it? I only have bits up to 1/2" and planned to grind it the rest of the way.
