The 235 in Corvettes was available from 1953 into 1955. The 261-style cam was used in 235 Corvettes from mid-1954 until they ran out of 235s for Corvettes (sometime in 1955).
I'll be putting one of those Corvette cams into my 1954 truck 235 when I rebuild it (and, it will get an "848" head).
