I love the idea of owning one of these old Chevy or GMC trucks, but in terms of modern safety, handling, braking, and driving in general, in stock condition, they will lack the feel I'm used to.
I don't understand the first thing about gear ratios. When I do get in a position to buy a truck, I hope to have all these bits and pieces figured out. I know I'll need to make modifications, but I want to make as few as possible, and they need to be the right changes so I don't have to redo it later on.
I know I'll be coming back to you guys again and again as I plan my dream truck.
