I do mostly city and country driving and I have no problem keeping up with traffic. Its definitely no dragster, but for an original engine with only 78,000 miles I have no complaints. No oil leaks, and still gets decent mileage. I have converted over to a pertronix ignition, which seems work just a little better than the points and I still retain the stock look of points. They have aftermarket manifolds 1x4 2x1 3x1 2x2, headers, cast iron fenton style headers, cams....plenty of goodies if you have the money. Seems that the inliners pay as much if not more than alot of the SBv8 guys. Currently its parked while I wait on a grill to come in. Have no headlights right now so cannot drive in NC without. Hopefully it comes in soon as I hate to see her parked.
