Thanks for the feedback. My '58 longbed Apache with a 283 has the original rear end gearing (I think) but a manual 3 speed plus granny gear in a transmission from a mid-60's C-10. The truck doesn't want to go over about 60 mph.
What driveline modfications would make sense to be able to cruise comfortably at 65 mph (without a trailer) but still have towing capabilities? The easier and cheaper the better.
