Parisenne, Is that a 28' RV trailer? Do you know what it weighs, or what the GVW rating is? There should be a label on it somewhere with that info, or with the axle ratings. Some of the contributors may be thinking that it's heavier than it really is. I know my folks pulled a 28' 5th wheel with an 88 GMC 1/2-ton with a 350 for years - all over the Ozarks. Of course there is lots of difference between an 88 and a 58. Whatever you do, do it safely.
