That thought crossed my mind last week early into this thread John, because my truck is a 3600. But after looking at a couple of 3100's a '50 and a '52 without the 5th hole I had to put that theory aside. I still can't find any continuity in this one.
My only thought is, and I mentioned this before, that the interiour rear view mirror might have been avalable as a factory option. I've got nothing to back this up so like gas, it's just a passing thought.
