LHD and RHD are abbreviations used in Master Parts Books.

LD and RD are used in the Factory Assembly Manual to indicate (as Bill suggested) Left Drive and Right Drive.

Check out the instruments shown in Section 12 Sheet 12.00, and in Section 12, Sheet 12.01 (these are the clearest examples that I could quickly find).
