On another note, Buck had started producing their knives overseas and now they are starting to bring some of their production home to the USA again.
I deal with hundreds of suppliers in my work dealings, everything from raw material to finished casting(all must be made in usa). They all tell me about customers that have gone off shore. But recently quite a few are telling me about some of those customers returning because they can't get the quaility offshore. On a similar note, one person I know has a business that deals in import/export for tools and machine goods and tells me of off shore companies coming back to the US too.
I don't think the tide has turned, but it's encouraging to hear of the returns.
