Some of the problem is very "good" corporate tax lawyers and members of congress that give tax benefits to companies for taking manufacturing off shore. I don't understand how that is possible, but I am guessing thats the way it they want it to be. Even google claims to have off shore headquarters. It is very hard to find anything not made off shore. It was nice while it lasted.
