I don't know how you can tell the valves are not bent unless you have them out already. I would wait with the valve springs until I find out what the real problem is. If you bent a push rod, it is possible and likely you bent a valve too. No sense replacing parts until you test them. If you are having a valve job, many places will replace the valves anyway.
