Just a tip for you .My compressors instructions said not to use a plug .You might want to check yours.I use the on off switch on it and the breaker if its off for any long period of time ,almost never is off .Also the plugs and sockets are pricey .My compressor is a craftsman pro 80 gallon and 220 also .Just my two cents hope it will help .
