Well, Tiny, I have to admit that I was wrong. Seems that what I was taught wasn't right after reding the various sites on oil vicosity.
I will agree, though, that these engines do seem to prefer straight 30 over a multi-viscocity oil. Actually, I'm running 30wt Valvoline Super HPO in mine, mainly due to both a feul dilutuion issue and a low reading on the pressure guage.
I am looking into a possibility of running full synthetic 30wt, going to do some more research before I make the switch.
