I'd switch to Quaker State 30W. Now about your gauge. Chevys should have a 0-30psi gauge. Is your truck a GMC? If so is it a Canadian GMC? It is normal for oil pressure on 235 to drop way down at idle. Are you sure it used to stay at 30 highway and idle? That doesn't sound typical. "It's just a phase. He'll grow out of it."
