To clarify my previous question, when #1 cylinder is at TDC, should the rotor be positioned directly on plug one or just before plug one? I found through another post that #1 cylinder is at the front of the truck, but the turning the engine by hand question still stands. Also, I rebuilt the carb and probably set the float wrong, but just to clarify, there shouldn't be ANY gas in the manifold even though I've been turning it over continuously and it hasn't been starting? Thanks again and I'll check the posts in the morning.
