Hy Ferndale53, I'm going to assume from your screen name that we are talking about a 53 chevy truck [you didn't tell us, and it isn't in your profile]. I agree with truckernix, you CANNOT pull the engine and four speed trans. together, the trans. WILL NOT come over the engine rear crossmember. You MUST remove the four speed first, hope that helps.
