On the road, You're on to something about the old versus the new. They are different - I don't know if that's bad or good except that now, a bit of grinding must be done in most cases. The fenton intake has sort of the "log design". It is shaped more like an offy or a Mcgurk. It doesn't have those nice flowing curves as do their headers. That's why I chose the Edelbrock. More curves. Personally, I'm going for cool looks. If it performs better, that's a bonus.
