I have my stock exhaust splitted by Kansas Kustoms so the Offy was a "bolt right on", but a friend wanted the fentons badly so we had the same problem as everybody.
Grinding never even came to our mind. We made 3 spacer rings on a leathe for the offy. They move it out far enough that no grinding is needed at all.
We even gave them a "swirl" pattern at the inside (like a thread) that may create a little "tornado" to subtitute flow and mixture (well I don`t know if that works but we are insane anyways
) While at it we constructed them in a way that it replaced the little intake rings too.
Was this only one of of my typical german "supercomplicatedoverthetop" constructions :rolleyes: ?
I mean, does really nobody out there with all this Offys `n Fenton combos come to this simple idea?
