| | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | I think gray was the color of Chevy 216, 235, 261s. GMC should be red as mentioned above. I paint all the parts before they go together with the exception of internal mating services. All the bolts I use get a clear coat on them and most everything still looks good like that. Once finished I touch up stuff by hand with a small detail brush.
