Welcome ...I would try to get her turned over.You can always change the motor later but hey,you would have some 'Bragging" rights if you can bring it back to life.
BTW,I had a Jeep Cherokee with a 4.0 motor given to me when I first got to Hawaii.Owner swore the engine was seized and no good any more(he had let it sit for about 2 years!).I pulled the plugs,dumped M.M. oil in each cylinder and left it for a week.Turned it over by hand,threw in a new starter and cranked it over with no plugs.Forgot to put rags over the holes and ended up with oil all over the place!!LOL Put in the old plugs and she cranked right up.She is pretty tired now but she still cranks up and she never stranded me in 5 years...Jeff
